Liberton Drive

Location: Edinburgh, UK

Architect: Konishi Gaffney Architects

Role: Structural Design & SER Certification

Corner windows always add drama to a development and this is no exception - the views out are fabulous and the building looks amazing.

In this case the structure to create the open column-free corner is formed using cantilevering beams to one side of the corner to provide primary support.  The other corner has a discreet column which supports the roof above.

We also provided design for the glass panels and frame supports, together with the cantilevering glass barrier internally.
